The fit-PC2i is very similar to the fit-PC2, with the following differences:

a serial port (instead of an IR receiver)
2x GigE ethernet ports (instead of one)
4x USB 2.0 ports (instead of six)

You can create your own unique configuration for the fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i, with your choice of:
