Designed for the harshest environments, the ALIX 3 Outdoor can be used in factories, on mountain tops or simply up on your roof.
Made from aluminium, the case is weatherproof and rust proof and can be either wall or pole mounted for maximum versatility. It is completely sealed against dust and dirt and can be immersed in up to a metre of water without leaking.
Make your own outdoor hotspot, access point, bridge or repeater, or buy two and build a point to point link at a fraction of the price of running cables or renting leased lines from a telco.
The features of the ALIX 3 include:
- a 433MHz processor with 128MB RAM or
a 500MHz processor with 256MB RAM
- 2 x miniPCI slots
- 1 x ethernet port (10/100)
- an IDE interface (CF type I/II only)
The outdoor case is available in three configurations:
- ALIX 3 Outdoor 1A1E - one antenna, one ethernet port (by special order)
- ALIX 3 Outdoor 2A1E - two antennas, one ethernet port
- ALIX 3 Outdoor 4A2E - four antennas, two ethernet ports (by special order)
